Sweet.

I hope the DLC takes you somewhere crazy different and branches out the world a lot.

man, my second playthrough of this has really solidified my feeling that this is from's best. the game is so ridiculously finely tuned. i just beat martyr logarius solo (which i wasn't able to do on my first playthrough) after getting that asshole to within an inch of his life about half a dozen times and not even getting close a half dozen more. this game can still give me that old THE DEMON WAS DESTROYED rush even now that i'm completely familiar with it.

also the logarius wheel is possibly my favourite weapon in the entire soulsborne series

Yeah, agreed.

I've barely had time to do my Demon's Souls rerun because I would honestly just rather play Bloodborne.

I think that they made the wheel a real weapon after seeing all the joke builds in dark souls that incorporated double spinning skeleton wheel shields.

My second run I've been using the cannon and it is so god damn satisfying for the fight to reach that razor's edge, where the next couple hits will take it, and then just bust out some bone marrow ash and fucking blow them up.

What's that amygdala? You don't want to lower your head for me? No worries, I brought some naval artillery along just in case.

haha that sounds great

also i'm surprised by how much variety there is, mostly thanks to how each weapon is properly unique but only practical with certain builds. i remember when i first finished the game i felt like other playthroughs would only be subtly different, but this logarius wheel STR/ARC build has been quite different and i'm already thinking about trying a bloodtinge build at some point.

like it's not the incredibly broad playstyle variation of DS because BB has a pretty specific combat flow, but it explores that space really thoroughly. keen for that DLC

New weapons, sweeeeet.

I wanted my next character to be ranged and arcane focused and it looks like the DLC has a bunch of cool stuff in that direction.

No one has talked about The Old Hunters DLC? SMH

I'm gonna replay BB soon and wanted to know if TOH was worth it. I mean, I'm most likely gonna get it anyway simply because of the bow, but yeah. Thoughts.

Been slowly working my way through it. I have way too many games to play these days.

It's really cool but it's freaking hard. It has to be basically the last thing you do before completing the game.

Hard to say since I haven't finished it. And I think all DLC is overpriced. It's on sale right now though.

I'd say it's definitely worth playing. It's new Bloodborne lore, enemies, levels and gear. What's not to like?
