Remembering Morrowind experiences

Post by kob » Thu Aug 16, 2007 01:50

so I'm talking to founder about the game and old memories of it so here discuss your old memories

some of mine are

- too scared to go to Dagon Fel and Tel Fyr
- fucking hated Sadrith Mora's prison thing (Wolverine)
- hated Gnisis' location
- hated Bloodmoon's stone elements quest
- hated Koal Cave, fuck that shit man
- Rarely ever went to the east side of the map
- The bridge near Moonmoth leading to Ghostgate (or somewhere in that region) scared me, it had a skeleton on it
- hated Dwarven ruins

-Stepping off the boat at Seyda Neen the first time and viewing the (at the time) amazing landscape
-Delving too deep into Arkngthand (the Dwemer ruin for the Puzzle Box) and being scared shitless by the ghosts and centurions in the dark
-Not being able to find the puzzle box in Arkngthand for forever
-The Cavern of the Incarnate. Awesome
-The trackless wastes of Molag Amur and the Ashlands
-The death of Captain Falx Carrius in the Moortrag Glacier
-Approaching the forbidding Ghost Gate for the first time

What? Solstheim didn't have sewers...

-Walking to Balmora for the first time and coming up on it in the mist
-Wandering into an ancestraltomb in that first walk and running into an enemy that I could only vaguely perceive in the dimness and was immune to my weapons and screeched at me in the darkness

Cave whatever. I don't remember exactly, but it's the first or second quest and you go northeast to some cave or sewer thing. I could not find it for like 100 years.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. It's the one where you are looking for the moon sugar suppliers and while you're in the cave (that does have a sewer like entrance), the werewolves attack Fort Frostmoth.

-Going into the cave below the lake on Solstheim and meeting the Draugr who has been holding back the great "evil" from escaping, although the evil happens to be...
Frost Atronachs (well, Frost Monarchs, but same thing)
