I honestly can't help myself by blasting this shit from time to time. I did listen to this album on acid once and it changed my life so that might have something to do with it.

It's not really guilty cuz I'm a weeb but I love KPP Best by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Good collection of her songs.

TBH I don't really have any guilty pleasure albums anymore. Just always listen to the same shit on soundcloud/spotify that I always have!

Her self titled visual album. I have it on blu-ray. I watch the whole thing through every once in a while. She's just so perfect

i don't consider any of the music i like to be a guilty pleasure. however i can be a sucker for chuggy, generic metalcore with endless breakdowns and catchy pop songs (Call Me Maybe hnnnng). i also love dumb ignorant hip hop with a good beat.

I've been getting into more sympthwave type stuff lately, I haven't bought a rap album since To Pimp a Butterfly.

I could listen to the Drive soundtrack for the rest of my life and be content.

I mostly just listen to whatever's on the radio, video game music, or older stuff I haven't gotten sick of yet.

I feel like most of what I listen to is a guilty pleasure. I'm embarrassed to show it to most people.

That's interesting Salad, most of the people I watch on Twitch play video game music or movie soundtracks in the background instead of traditional band albums.

Is synthwave kind of like retrosynth? Like Dance with the Dead or Lazerhawk or the Hotline Miami soundtrack? That throwback 80s stuff?

That's my shit, if that counts as a guilty pleasure. And I think it kinda does because it's just like sound porn. It's not going to define your life or challenge you like really good music will.

But otherwise yeah, I've always loved electronic music with strong melodies. Video game music basically is that. I'm also into hard rock, but that's mostly dead at this point. I'm also strangely into 90s style gangster rap, but primarily because they tend have good beats.

Here's hoping the new Gorillaz album is good.
