It was a dark and stormy [READING THREAD]

Post by Ransom » Thu Jul 31, 2008 14:09

I am reading the first book in the original Doom series after buying the lot from Amazon. I read the last one years ago and always wondered how the hell they got to that point since by then it had nothing at all to do with Doom

so far it is too much like Doom and I am instead looking forward to the part where they deviate completely

So what are you assholes reading at the moment?

Call me uncultured but i don't read alot. I have trouble getting into books so i generally only read reviews of music and games. Occasionally i'll read some poetry, or a short story, but other than that i really don't have the time.

The book of Fight Club, Great read even if you've already seen the movie.

I think Gollancz published a complete collection of Howard's Conan stories a couple years ago. You could probably order it in.

So i bought 2 of the Dexter books from a car boot sale, at the agonising wallet destroying price of £1 each.

I regret nothing they are great.

we must talk of these.

Didnt they turn that into a TV series?

I think it was about the guy who investigates serial killers during the day then is a serial killer at night?

Talk about ORIGINALITY
